At first, my trip into the forrest was a much needed break from the way I was residing my life.
I had my sights set on success from a very young age! Growing up in a property where there was little other that food plus shelter pushed me from a young age.
My folks did there best however were also slaves to substance abuse. Our property didn’t have central a/c or anything like that. I remember what a crucial deal it was when I was in junior high plus we got a window a/c device for downstairs. That was such a crucial deal; Living like that got me so motivated to excel plus achieve so I would not have to go without stuff ever again. But that’s a double edge sword as it turns out. Indeed, I got myself into a fantastic college where I spent four years with unrelenting radiant heat during the Winter. Once I had my degree, I got the task I wanted inside the posh commercial HVAC of a costly downtown building. And man, did I ever get after it. Achieving success was the only thing I was interested in plus that lasted for 15 years. Then, I woke up one day to find that I had nothing else to show for my life other than all that work plus subsequent trappings of wealth. Immediately, I took a sabbatical plus headed for the woods on a fantastic adventure into nature. Turns out, I didn’t want to go back. I ended up buying property plus building a two study room cabin. I’m back to the easy life however at least I have ductless heat pumps to supply the quality heating plus air that I’d consistently wanted.
