I was eager for the weekend to start so that I could leave the house, the office plus unwind for a while, however finally, Monday plus the day was attractive, i made sure that my phone was fully charged, my toothbrush tucked away in my suitcase, plus I was prepared to leave! I had everything ready to go in my suitcase to head off; Although I didn’t have a plan, I was aware that this weekend I needed to break from my routine.
- I believed that trying out some new restaurants plus getting away from it all would be lovely… The weekend went by too suddenly, plus before I knew it, it was Thursday night plus I was back at home.
As I rolled into the driveway, something about the fogged-up windows caught my attention. I hesitantly opened the door to my apartment plus was greeted by a wave of intense heat. The shockingly high indoor temperature was 85 degrees! What is the source of this? It seems I forgot to turn off the furnace when I rushed out for the weekend, then despite the fact that it was relatively hot while I was away, the furnace had been running nonstop for three afternoons. The heat inside the apartment was awful, plus a few things appeared to be melting. I suddenly turned down the dial thermostat plus flung open the windows in the hopes of bringing in some much-needed coolness. In order to prevent further occurrences, it was clear that I needed to exercise greater caution, so I invested in a smart thermostat that should be able to stop situations like this from happening again.
