I will work for a little bit longer and after that I am going to shut the office down for the day and cherish this quiet peaceful afternoon.
It is siesta time in our town, a time when all of the stores close for a few hours so the workers can go take a rest and eat some food in their homes.
These towns that are small have siestas so the owners and workers can walk to their nearby flats and eat dinner at dwelling and take naps to recharge for the second half of the day at work. The Heating and A/C business stays open the whole time however only has one Heating and A/C worker in the shop, while the rest of them go dwelling for the siesta time to be with their families and pets. There are a lot of pet owners and a lot of them use the siesta time to walk the pets around town a bit before going back to work. The heating dealership owner has a pet which stays at the company all day and doesn’t care to be walked much because it is entirely old. I know the pet is about 14 years aged now and a walk for it consists of walking to its food bowl and walking out back of the Heating and A/C business to relieve itself. Old pets like that are not so keen on long walks anymore and would rather just sleep in the shade of a big maple tree outside, or even in the shop next to the big media air cleaner that keeps it corporation.
