Working on ductwork all day

My right hand is moving a bit slow today after playing the hand drum last night for about three hours.

My bandmate told me to put some mice on my hand to make it feel better, but after holding two mice in my hands for half an hour I messaged him and said it wasn’t helping.

That is when he told me to put some ICE on my hand, not some mice! Oops. Anyway, today I am pretty tired from three hours of singing and drumming in the band. We played so long our recorder died, batteries died, and air conditioning died in the building we were playing inside. Once the A/C died we left the building, like Elvis, and played the rest of the time outside in the street without an amp. Now I know to charge the amp’s batteries every time we play so they don’t die on us. Our best song was when we were heating up outside at the end playing without the recorder. We sang a song about the sun going down and all these people started dancing and filming while we played and sang. It was our best song, but sadly the recorder was cooling down after running out of space. I guess I need to change the setting on it so it can record longer sets, but then the quality will be reduced. The HVAC rep was watching at the end and this really lovely woman on a bike coming home from work stopped and gave us $5, which was really nice of her and I thanked her for doing so.
