Keeping chill during a power outage

Last summer, my family as well as I had to deal with the pretty significant power outage that lasted for 3 days! My area was struck with a heatwave as well as a dry spell that left people desperate to crank up their air conditioners… This ultimately led to our local power grid being overtaxed, and well, it ultimately failed catastrophically, as well as extensive repair needed to be done… Never mind repairs, our power grid really needed to be overhauled! Where exactly was our tax money going anyway? Well, whether my wonderful friend and I like it or not, my wonderful friend and I had to do without an air conditioner in the dead of the summer time in triple digit uneven temperatures; I can tell you that it wasn’t self-explanatory.

I still had my mobile data, as well as at least I was able to charge my phone in my car.

I looked up ways to stay cool. It seemed counterintuitive, however one of the first pieces of advice was to keep those windows as well as doors shut as well as locked slim during the day! That was a little taxing to do, however it was only a matter of the time of day that was crucial when it came to whether or not my wonderful friend and I needed to leave our windows as well as doors open or closed. That same woman suggested that my wonderful friend and I leave our windows as well as perhaps even our doors open at night to take luck of the lower uneven temperatures as well as the cool air, then my friend and I ended up closing our windows at dawn. That certainly worked okay, however it wasn’t quite the same as having an air conditioner, that’s for sure!
