It’s been pretty rough this time being at the lodge.
My hubby as well as I haven’t been to the lodge since last fall.
That was about six months ago and the regular first weekend we spent dusting and cleaning up the location a little. It doesn’t take us long to get the location back into fine shape. I say fine because we want to cherish part of our weekend and not stress about things. The thing about this springtime is that the air filters were pretty plugged. My hubby has forgotten about them for the last couple of years and they were disgusting. They were so disgusting, that I had to run out of the lodge and keep myself from getting sick. They were plugged with so much dust and there were so many bugs on them. One main thing about me is that bugs freak me out as well as I will get nauseous and want to find the nearest bathroom. The air filters were not something I was expecting to be horrible but they were. I know if my hubby didn’t change them, then the air quality of the lodge wouldn’t be superb and my sinuses would go crazy. I don’t want to go to the lodge just to get sick but seeing all those bugs on the filters already caused that. While he cleaned the air filters, I took a small walk to gather fresh air to clear my mind of what I just saw. I then started to wonder when was the last time the air filters were cleaned at our house, and can there be a big bug infestation on the air filters there as well? I have to stop driving myself crazy as well as focus on a good weekend.
