Ductwork caused an injury

I usually have an extra pair of pants and an extra work shirt in the truck just in case I run into a thunderstorm. In this part of the country, the weather is entirely humid and moist. That means that it can rain at any time, we frequently have an afternoon shower. If I happen to be working outside at that time, I am going to get wet, but last week we had three sizable storms in a row and I was working outside during the second storm. My pants and shirt were soaked and I had to change into my spare pair of clothes. I forgot to replace the pants and shirt and yesterday I ran into an interesting problem that required a change of clothing. I tore my pants on a piece of ductwork. I was crawling through a customer’s attic so I could inspect all of the ductwork. There was a part of the ductwork that was loose, then as I was moving by, the ductwork grabbed my pants and ripped a sizable hole. I had a pretty enjoyable scrape on my leg that was bleeding. I got out of the attic as swiftly as I could so I could assess the detriments to my leg. My pants were split in a way so the client would be able to see my underwear. There was nothing I could do about it at the time because my leg was bleeding a good deal. The client was horrified by the fact that the ductwork in her home caused an injury, so she offered to call 911, although I told her that a couple of paper towels would be much more helpful.
