My sister thinks that I’m crazy for the way that I spoil my dog Ferdinand.

I love Ferdinand almost like he was my own child! I buy him fancy clothes and toys and I take him on doggy mini vacations every now and then. Probably one of the craziest things I’ve ever done for Ferdinand is something that you’ve never even heard of before. I started worrying about him getting too hot and overheating in the backyard last summer when the temperature outside was heating up rapidly. I was afraid that the little guy was going to get too hot and I called my local heating and cooling company to make an appointment. I hired an HVAC technician to come out to the house and give me an estimate on having an air conditioning system put in Ferdinand’s dog house in the backyard. I think at first the HVAC company’s receptionist thought that I was trying to pull a prank on her or something. She couldn’t believe that someone actually wanted to install air conditioning for their dog. I guess she just didn’t really comprehend the amount of love I have for this dog. She also wasn’t sure about the cost of having a tiny A/C unit installed for a dog house but she set up an HVAC technician to come and give me a price. They all probably think I’m crazy, but I don’t care as long as Ferdinand is nice and cool with his doggy A/C system next summer.
