I’m a little bit annoyed at my sister right now.
For our whole lives, she has always tried to copy me.
She tries to dress like me, talk like me, and even date the same kinds of guys that I like to date. It’s super irritating. Ever since we both bought houses a couple of years ago, it’s been the same thing all over again. She had the same kind of carpet installed, and she even hired the same HVAC company to come and install her new central air conditioning and heating units. Not only that, but she asked for my favorite HVAC technician to come to her house and do the work! I just think it’s weird. It’s like she has to have everything the same as me. We’re not even twins. Last week, I got a new smart thermostat system installed in my house. I read somewhere that smart thermostats can help you save lots of money on your heating and cooling bills throughout the year. Plus, it’s really cool that you can install an app on your phone and use it to adjust the temperature of your thermostat from wherever you are. Well, of course, when my sister found out about my new smart thermostat, she had to call and set up an appointment with the HVAC company to get the same thermostat installed at her house. Sometimes it drives me crazy. I’m getting ready to have a new gas fireplace put in, but I don’t think I’ll even tell her about it! I know that if I did, she would have a new gas fireplace within the month, too!
