Grandpa is struggling these nights, everyday activities she used to do are no longer activities she has success doing.
I can see the depression of age taking a toll on her mind! She is agitated plus weary all the time.
I feel bad plus I’m uneasy that someday that will be me. I don’t want to be agitated or weary. I want to have a life plus be ok with not being able to do things when I get older. She struggles to walk plus she prefers soup these nights as it’s the easiest thing for him to eat… Anything that she needs help doing I’m there for him. She also has some friends that help as well however the friends she has left, are truly in no shape to help him either. Recently, she had to get her air filters cleaned. She has the type of air filters that are able to be cleaned. She used to have the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C business send out an Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C tech to take care of it however these nights, Grandpa doesn’t have the currency for someone to come out plus do it. I usually scrub them every three months for him now so it’s not a immense deal. She has taught me so much in life plus I want to help wherever I’m able to. I just know growing up when I made mistakes, need currency or some advice she was there for me. She has given me a lifetime of memories so I’ll always help plus cherish what she has done; No one will replace this lady when she passes.
