My girlfriend and I met online six months ago. We have been dating the whole time, even though we lived in separate states. Last month, we decided to change that. I work on website graphics and logos, and I can work from an office or at home. My current company even offered to let me to work from home, so they could keep me employed. I have lots of options. It didn’t make sense for my girlfriend to leave her teaching job, especially when she was there for five years. She loves those third graders and I didn’t want her to give up the job. I decided to move, even though my mom, dad, and friends all thought it was a bad idea. My girlfriend and I have been looking for a place together, and right now we are just living in a month-to-month rental. All of our things are in storage until we find the right house that is both affordable and close to work. The month to month lease works out great, because we are looking for the perfect house to rent. As soon as we find the right place, we will be able to move in. If we signed a 6, 8, or 12 month lease, then we would be stuck paying a lot of fees to move out of the rental. My girlfriend and I are living in a furnished rental, but our monthly bills are still very low. It’s been easy to save money. Everything is included with our month-to-month lease. We don’t have to pay for water, electricity, cable, or internet.
