When I was a kid, my dad took me fishing all of the time.
We went to the lake every weekend hoping to find some trout, perch, or bass.
The first time my dad ever took me fishing on a boat, we were out in the Gulf of Mexico. It was the first time that I ever fished from a large boat. I saw many different types of tropical fish. We caught red snapper and flounder and a variety of different sharks. Before we headed out to see the first time, my dad bought me a nice pair of sunglasses. They were the most expensive pair of sunglasses that I ever owned and I treasure them with my life. I had those sunglasses for 8 years before I lost them. I was working on a job located in a different city. I was on assignment for 6 months and stayed in corporate housing during that time. The company paid for the corporate housing, which was a one bedroom and one bathroom furnished apartment. The corporate apartment was only a few blocks from the job site, and that made the morning commute much easier. When I was getting ready to leave the corporate apartment, I accidentally left my sunglasses sitting on top of the refrigerator. I didn’t even think about them until I was getting off the plane in my hometown. I called the corporate housing director right away, and they gave me the direct phone number for the manager. I called the corporate housing manager directly and explained the situation. She told me not to worry, because housekeeping already found the sunglasses. She put them in a package and sent them overnight at no charge.
