I don’t mind telling you that I’m in love with my sunroom. Being able to get up really early and get the slightest bit of heating from the ductless heat pump is perfect. I normally rise well before the sun comes up and the first thing I do is flip on the ductless heat pump. We live in a region that doesn’t need much heating. In fact the heat pump in our house remains fairly silent all winter. The house is sealed up tight and insulated so we stay nice and cozy most of the time without needing the heat pump for heating. But the sunroom is a different animal. And I have to admit that it was sort of an afterthought when we first bought this place. We updated the HVAC equipment in our previous home and sold it at the peak of the real estate bubble. We moved to this house because it’s all one floor, and much smaller which makes it so much easier to manage. My wife was pretty wild about having the sunroom but I didn’t give it much thought because I tend to go outside to enjoy the outdoors. But my wife was right about the sunroom. And she was even more spot on when she called the HVAC company to install a ductless heat pump in there. The sunroom is now my favorited spot and I love starting my day out there no matter the season. The ductless heat pump always has my back when it comes to the quality heating and air we need out there.
