I know we unintentionally saved the best for last when it came to the renovations on our home, but upgrading the A/C unit was the fitting finish to all the renovations we’ve done on our home! My wife and I have been homeowners now for almost three years, and we started the home renovations nearly the day that we got the keys to this location.
But frankly, it was the only way we could afford this house, this is easily an amazing structure that just needed a whole lot of work.
But it’s also the size home that we can honestly raise a family in, and however, it easily did take a whole lot of effort to turn what was a rundown home into our home. The home was sold to us and truly much in “as is” condition. It was part of an estate sale and we got it for half of what it was easily unquestionably worth due to the condition it was in. We started the renovations with things that made the home livable. We were blessed to have an A/C unit that was aged but still effective, so we decided to focus on the other things first as we did not have an enormous budget. Most of the work we were able to do. It’s amazing what you can find online when it comes to instructional videos. But we also had to bring in professionals like electricians, plumbers and A/C professionals. The A/C company we used was just outstanding and he easily listened to us when it came to our heating and cooling needs. We now have the sort of residential A/C that we easily dreamed of. And it comes with all the latest cooling technology as well.
