Lucas and fellow congregants have a nice gym at their church, which is great for them to enjoy playing basketball in and stuff.
However, for some reason, it’s always super cold there.
Lucas doesn’t know if there is something wrong with the heating and cooling plan in the gym or what, but there is actually an issue. He asked the church maintenance woman if she has the temperature control settings turned on the right way and she said that she actually does. She felt bad whenever Lucas asked her about it. Perhaps she thought that Lucas was questioning her know-how or her authority or something, but that wasn’t the point in him asking her, though. He was sad about the fact that the gym’s temperature is just too cold for anyone to go in and enjoy being inside of the gym for any length of time. Something has got to be wrong in there if the temperature control is set up like normal but the temperature is always freezing. Lucas personally feels there is something wrong with the temperature control itself, but he can’t possibly bring it up again to the maintenance woman because he will just end up making her mad at him all over again. He does want to have a meeting at church in just two weeks and he is hoping to use the gym section so that they would have a lot of room. However, at this point, Lucas just doesn’t know if it’s going to happen!
