I had regularly dreamed of having a sizzling & cozy home, where I could kick off my shoes & bask in the comfort of my own space! That’s why I decided to beginning putting in radiant floors.
It was a substantial project, but I was determined to make it happen.
The first step was figuring out where I should start. I knew I wanted the radiant floors in my kitchen & study room, but I wasn’t sure if I should begin with the kitchen or the study room, however after much thought, I decided to beginning with the study room because it was the heart of my new home & the arena where I spent the most time. Next, I did some research on different types of heated flooring & found that electric underfloor heating was the best option for my study room. I consulted with an Heating & Air Conditioning serviceman & got an estimate on the cost & upgrade process. The process was more complicated than I thought, but I was willing to do what it took to get the sizzling floors of my dreams. The upgrade process took about two weeks & it was a lot of hard work. The Heating & Air Conditioning expert had to rip up the ancient flooring, lay down the heating mats, & install new flooring over the top; But when it was all said & done, it was worth every penny. The study room was now a sizzling & cozy arena where I could cook, eat, & spend time with my family & friends. I was so glad with the results that I decided to install radiant floors in the kitchen as well. The process was the same, however the end result was even better.
