When the lights went out, I called a licensed electrical contractor

I didn’t think it was going to be a big deal to put up a mirror in the bedroom.

The mirror wasn’t that big or heavy. I told my husband that I was going to do the job on my own, but he urged me to wait until he was home on the weekend. My husband works somewhere else throughout the week and I only see him on the weekends right now. It’s tough on our family, but we are doing our best. The kids miss their dad throughout the week, so he usually spends all day on Saturday with them. I didn’t want to wait until Sunday when it was my husband’s only day of free time. He likes to go golfing with his friends and I did not want him to miss out on the fun. On Wednesday I decided to call a licensed electrical contractor. I really didn’t have a choice after the lights went out in the bedroom. I was feeling a hole for the mirror and I must have drilled through some type of electrical wire because all of the lights went out. Thankfully I wasn’t shocked. I called an electrical repair service near me. The electrical repair service handles residential and commercial service calls. The company sent an electrician to check on the problem. I showed the guy where I was drilling through the wall and he asked if I had the floor plan for the house. I did not have any blueprints, so the contractor had to spend extra time looking for the electrical wiring.
