I’m beginning to look like a hunchback

For the last ten years I have worked as a secretary.

I couldn’t believe what this job could do to a back. I would have thought that sitting at a desk for eight hours a day would be a cake job. I never realized how much damage you could do to your back and muscles by being so sedentary. It wasn’t until my sister invited me to go on a cruise with her that I realized how out of shape I was because of my job. I love my job, but I also knew that I had to get some real exercise. My sister is a physical therapist and she does a lot of personal training. She told me that I needed to get a massage every once in a while and I also needed a personal trainer. I was going to balk at that idea until she offered to do the job. When we went on the cruise, she forced me to get out of bed in the morning and go out on deck and exercise. I was tired and achy and thinking how this was supposed to be a fun vacation. At night, we went dancing and although I was tired, I was having fun. I found that I could straighten up without any discomfort. She used her massager on me after a workout and she helped to loosen my muscles. She taught me stretches I could do from my desk and showed me how to stretch out the kinks instead of eating a big lunch. I have lost nearly twenty pounds and I feel so much better. I no longer feel like I am becoming a Quasimoto.
