Seven digital thermostats to program today

I have six more years to go and I will get about $950 a month for the rest of my life.

If I keep living over here in Europe that money would pay my rent, utilities, and food for the month.

I would need about $250 more a month to cover spending money and miscellaneous bills and I would be all set. I can work a few hours a week doing something and make that money, but I would probably work a lot more than that so that I can save a bit each month. If my electric furnace takes a nosedive, I would have the cash to get an HVAC repairman out to fix it if I had a buffer saved in my bank account. I can’t believe that in six years I will be able to collect social security, jeez I must be getting old. My cooling expert friend is good at motivating me and I have learned a lot from her over the years we have worked together at the air conditioning business that she owns. I guess getting older doesn’t have to be a bummer if you look at it from the right angle. I met her a few years ago when I went into the local business to get some energy saving tips from her and some help programming some digital thermostats that I bought for all of my family. She helped me a lot with coming to terms about the aging process, and now I feel a lot better about myself than I used to.
