After the last few weeks of dealing with a Heating and A/C specialist, I’m not entirely sure that I trust the Heating and A/C specialist for our church anymore! I’ve only been working for the church for two years, but the church has been using the same Heating and A/C specialist for 10 years.
The Heating and A/C specialist has a key to the church and properly repairs and inspects the heat and air conditioning equipment when they need it.
However, a few weeks ago, the Heating and A/C specialist told me that the equipment needed updated in every single Heating and A/C unit. That was odd in my mind, because they’d just updated the equipment on the heating and air equipment last year, and they were supposed to be good for awhile. Also, he mentioned that one air conditioner needed a bit of work. I had the parts updated myself, and the air conditioner still wasn’t working. I phoned the Heating and A/C specialist, and he told me that there were a couple more major broken parts that he missed during the last inspection. He came and updated them and got the Heating and A/C equipment working again. A few weeks later, the same air conditioning unit stopped working again, and the Heating and A/C specialist fixed it again, but he told me that it needed updated every few months. That was odd again because I’d just had it updated a few weeks prior. I have reason to believe that the Heating and A/C specialist is either lying or being lazy. Either way, this is horrible.
