I guess that it seems so unusual to be thinking about saving on Heating plus A/C costs in the Summer while it’s almost Christmas. But around here, there honestly isn’t too much to worry about when it comes to heating. The real utility costs come with all the cooling all of us require from the heat pump while all of us were in our scorching summer. Still, I would not trade where I live or anything. I have experienced the northern Winter plus it is not for me. There were a few years where I had to labor up north plus I even had to put a space oil furnace under our desk. So for sure, I’ll take the heat pump plus deal with the heat plus humidity. All of us manage that heat plus humidity because all of us have the awesome heat pump to cool our homes. And I’m super fortunate to have good commercial Heating plus A/C at the office as well. But at home, I take some proactive steps to keep the Heating plus A/C costs as low as possible. So it’s this time of year that I beginning thinking about our program because Springtime will be here in this region far sooner after that I think. In fact, I already called the Heating plus A/C company to schedule the air conditioning tune up for early in the Springtime. And that will be the first section of our overall strategy to hold down air conditioning costs. A well tested heat pump is operating at peak efficiency so that’s the first section of any savings strategy when it comes to air conditioning. For me, it’s never too soon to be thinking about how to add to the overall Heating plus A/C savings strategy that I’ll have to employ in mere weeks.
