The winter season is right around the corner.
So that means it is time for myself and others to update our heating equipment.
I have had the same exact same oil furnace for over 13 years now, plus to be real with you, it’s at the end of its life. With that in mind, I am trying to decide if I just want a brand new central heating plus air conditioner, or if I want to spend a little more money. I could get a heat pump, radiant flooring or a boiler system. A hot water boiler device could tag in with heated flooring to create hydronic heating. I could have piping installed under the floorboards to create even heating in the house. After thinking about it a little while last month, plus comparing costs, reviews on the internet and more, I decided on a hot water boiler. Having a hot water boiler will undoubtedly break down some of the high electric bills that the Winter season months usually bring to me. I researched this online and learned more about hydronic heating too. It can really save money by not letting heat rise or be wasted. That is why I decided that the hot water boiler is what I want to go with! I am going to entirely get a ductless mini split air conditioner for the Summer as well. Now though, I don’t need to worry about it for at least another 5 months or so. So right now I just need to get our finances in order, plus figure out where I am buying our hot water boiler from.
