I’ve owned our pop shop for about twelve years, plus have l earned quite a bit about what it takes to own plus maintain a enjoyable air conditioning plus gas furnace.
Having an appropriate A/C is super important in any restaurant setting, but it is arguably more important in a pop shop.
Our customers want the air conditioning to be cool enough to relieve them of the intense heat outside, comfortable enough for them to drink an iced beverage without feeling frigid, plus steady enough so that they can stand for hours without having to moderate up outside. I assume when I need to call our professional for maintenance because I usually see dust building up on our countertops a lot faster, plus I see a small spike on our energy bill. When I see the spike, I can infer that the A/C is working a little harder than proper to pump out the same amount of air that it normally does, which means that either filters need to be replaced, leaks need to be patched up, or a straight-forward tune up needs to be had. I enjoy running our own pop shop plus hope to continue doing it for a long time! The neighborhood is beautiful plus all of our customers make the whole experience wholesome plus kind. It’s great to have a staple in the community where people come literally everyday. To have a location that has become a weekly ritual for so multiple genuinely makes you grateful for the opportunity. I hope we can expand at some point in the future without losing our special touch!
