When our buddies and I first started playing our instruments in our parents’ garage, both of us weren’t all that severe about the songs.
Of course, both of us started entirely getting into it, especially after I got our new drum set which made our songs way more lively.
I took well to the drums instantly and it didn’t take myself and others long to become very skilled. One acquaintance was on his guitar and another acquaintance was playing the keyboard, and unluckyly, none of us were entirely skilled at singing, so both of us decided both of us needed to audition people for the singer in our band. I mean don’t get myself and others wrong, both of us wrote some killer lyrics and both of us just wanted to see what people could show us. Well, the first audition didn’t go too well. Everybody who came out asked if both of us were joking when both of us were in this warm garage. I mean, both of us had a fan running, but obviously that wasn’t enough. The two of us considered having a window AC device installed and that’s when our father butted in on the conversation. He asked if it wasn’t comfortable enough in the garage, and both of us told him everything about how both of us were trying to audition but nobody was interested because it was way too warm. He said both of us could constantly invest in a ductless mini split. He explained ductless mini splits weren’t too costly and if both of us put our money together, he would help us with the installation so both of us could have reliable a/c in no time. He also said he would help to soundproof the garage too if both of us were getting severe with our songs. So before both of us knew it, both of us had a new ductless mini split and after that I had the next audition where both of us found some awesome singers. The two of us ended up bringing several singers on to the band and they both knew how to play guitar as well!
