If they really want trouble, I’ll turn my wife loose on them
I don’t ever look for trouble. At the same time, I’m not in the habit of being bullied or pushed around either. So my current situation with the HOA is sort of a bit of both. And it’s all over a very temporary situation that will take care of itself in just a few months. Still, the HOA compliance board wants to flex their muscles and make big threats. It all started when I suggested to my son to not spend another summer moping around in the ain conditioning. I encouraged him to find a few lawns to mow in order to make himself so money and do something. He’s not quite 14 but plenty responsible to do lawns. He’s been doing ours for over a year. In an effort to help him learn about the hedge trimmer, we worked on one of our hedges. It ended up getting cut a bit too short. In turn, this revealed a partial view of the HVAC cabinet alongside the house. I had no idea this would be an issue for anyone but me. And I could certainly wait a few months to let a plant grow back. But the HOA was on that mistake in mere days. They taped threatening notes to my door. These I read and threw away because I’m not doing anything about the fact that you can barely see the HVAC equipment from the street. It’s stupid and arbitrary. If they really want trouble, I’ll turn my wife loose on them. She’s an attorney who simply relishes destroying punk people like this.
