Electric oil furnace may have been hit by a car

My tenants called myself and others early this afternoon & told myself and others that their electric oil furnace isn’t toiling at all.

They explained that it is 50 degrees in the house & that the temperature keeps dropping. This is absolutely an emergency. It was 30 degrees outside & stressed to drop below 20 before the next day. I called up my oil furnace repairman & paid for the emergency oil furnace repair. He called myself and others about 2 minutes later & said he was at my tenants’ beach house & that the electric oil furnace would need to be completely replaced. He also said that it looked like they had hit it with their car. He took pictures of the oil furnace & their motorcar for me. It sure does look like they hit the oil furnace with their car. At that unique residence the electric oil furnace is in the garage. It is a nice big garage & I have never had any complications with collision injure before. However, it was easily frigid yepterday. I could see how someone might be driving into the garage a little too fast, try to slow down, hit ice, & crash into their own electric oil furnace. The concern is proving that this is what happened. Of course, I paid to have the oil furnace replaced. I don’t easily have a choice. I am responsible for keeping it running… Besides, if I don’t then the pipes will freeze & I will be out even more currency. I would, but, easily like to be able to charge my tenants for this disfigure! With the pictures I know that I can do it. After all, how else would the electric oil furnace have gotten caved in like that?
