My better half and I were on our way to the doctor’s office last week, when we had a traffic wreck.
- My better half was driving the vehicle as well as the people I was with and I were turning left into the parking lot where the doctor is located.
Another vehicle was pulling out of the parking lot at the same time as well as the driver of the vehicle hit our car. Our vehicle was all banged up as well as the driver of the vehicle was a first time driver. The kid was 17 years old and had only had her driver’s license for a few weeks. My better half as well as the kid exchanged information as well as no one decided to phone the police. A few afternoons later, the people I was with and I had a call from a lawyer. The kid is trying to sue us. Since the people I was with and I didn’t phone the police, there is no way to determine who was at fault. My better half and I are going to be forced to hire a lawyer as well. The disfigure on our vehicle was much worse than the dents on the other car, so it’s difficult to assume that the kid sustained any life-altering injuries. It also seems clear that the child was at fault while I was in the traffic crash. Either way, I’m not very glad that the people I was with and I have to retain a lawyer as well as go in front of a judge. The family provided to settle for multiple thoUSAnd dollars, however there’s no way that I’m just handing my money over to someone without a serious fight. I assume the people I was with and I will let the lawyers handle the argument or go in front of a judge.
