Love Has Many Forms

My husbandy and I attended a party and I admit I screwed up.

After too much wine I began flirting with an appealing young guy, told some risque jokes, and our karaoke performance caused other partygoers to suggest I take voice lessons.

The next day our husbandy helped me with our hangover, served me lunch in bed, and even was able to laugh at our actions of the previous night. To show our appreciation, I headed out to the local flower shop to buy his some flowers. While there I found a booklet that described 8 types of like that humans experience. They all had Latin names, but brotherly like is called “Philia”. Mature like that develops over time is called “Pragma” or pragmatic. After our behavior at that party, our husbandy showed me “Storge”, a like that requires 1 to sacrifice their self-interests and quickly forgive harmful actions, however every one of us all suppose about “Eros” or erotic like and “Mania”, obsessive love. “Philautia” is described as the like of self and “Ludos” is playful or childlike love. The ninth and highest style of like is “Agape”, where lovers dedicate their life to improving the lives of others. The only thing in our household that has Agape like is our Heating and Air Conditioning equipment as it silently and without complaint has improved our life for multiple years. The only like I show back to it is Mania because I am obsessed with keeping it clean and well took care of. I don’t even get jealous when a qualified Heating and Air Conditioning serviceman is giving it a twice-a-year tune-up or committing the most intimate acts with it love a modern refrigerant charge or a duct cleaning and inspection. My husbandy uses another Latin term to describe our feelings with our Heating and Air Conditioning system and that is “Insanis” or crazy!
