As soon as I finished with high school, I already knew what I wanted to do with the rest of my life. I signed up for college courses and began working on my marketing degree just as soon as I could. I took several digital marketing courses during my first year of study and by the time I graduated with my marketing degree, I was an expert at SEO, social media marketing, and online marketing. I found a job at a large digital marketing firm in a neighboring city, and I really liked the company. They let me work from home three days a week, which I think is a huge perk. I also interviewed at a local advertising agency, but they didn’t offer the option of working from home. That’s actually the reason I ended up taking the other job with the marketing firm. I don’t know of anyone who would rather work in an office building all day every day than just staying at home! Of course, now that we’re on a lockdown basically statewide, I guess most people are working from home. I’m glad that with my job at the digital marketing company, I was already used to it for the most part. My job hasn’t really changed much at all with the stay at home orders that have been given. I’m still working on creating good SEO articles, target ads, and digital marketing campaigns. I think that these days, social media marketing is even more important than it already was for businesses. Most people are doing more shopping online now than ever before, so maintaining a social media presence is super important to people like me who work in the marketing business.
