PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING BEFORE ORDERING A  REVERSE OSMOSIS FILTER
 
GPD (Gallons Per Day) is the amount of filtered water that will be produced over a period of 24 hours (at a minimum water main pressure of 60 PSI). A 50 GPD RO Filter will provide filtered water at the rate of about 2 gallons per hour.
 
Filtered water becomes available as water is squeezed through the RO membrane and into the holding tank. The pressure at the faucet increases as the holding tank fills up, When you empty the holding tank it will take a few minutes to recover any pressure at all and no appreciable amount of water should be expected for at least a half  hour 
 
If you have low water pressure you should buy a model with a pressure pump to assure your filter produces water at the designed GPD rate. (Pressures of less than 35 PSI may produce no filtered water at all)
