Don't be unnecessarily alarmed about what you may have heard or read about about the minerals that are lost in the distilling of water or in the Reverse Osmosis process. Both of these processes produce what is as close to pure water as is possible. Obviously there will be some good stuff removed right along with the bad. There are also concerns among some health practicioners over the loss of ph balance in water treated by these two methods.
So, should you avoid distilled water and not buy a Reverse Osmosis water filter? Not necessarilly. The purity of the water they provide surpasses that acheived by most other filtration processes.
Well, what are we to do then if we want a water filter that provides nearly pure water but are still concerned about the loss of minerals and/or about the ph balance.
Nutritional Supplements are one obvious answer and the right supplements, if purchased from a reliable source, may do the trick as far as minerals are concerned.
Happy FIltering!
