It used to be easy to find print shops

Do you remember when it was easy to find print shops in your area? I do, but over the years, several of these shops have closed their doors because the digital world has taken over. This means more and more people are printing less and using a digital replacement instead. Personally, I haven’t used my printer in over a year, but for my job, I use 2 monitors, so there is no need for me to print anything, all the files that I need are located on the server. When I do print a document, I usually print it to pdf and save it for when I need to open it. Additionally, I use a certified, encrypted signature program to sign all respected documents, which means, I wouldn’t need to print those documents either. Instead, they are stored in a secure folder on the server. Anyway, my sibling stayed with me a few weeks ago, plus she needed to print a substantial document. She was quite surprised when I told him that I don’t have a printer as she was expecting me to have one since I work from home. I had to explain to her that I no longer need a printer to perform my job and that baffled her even more, but unlike me, my sibling needs to have hard copies of all her documents and I appreciate having those documents stored digitally. Well, our sibling had to go searching for a location to print her documents and that became another job. There are no printing repair companies where I live, so she had to drive about 10 minutes to find one. She was able to get her document printed and scanned at the printing service.
