Usually my wife plus I stay in hotel rooms while we happen to be on vacation. Since both of us stay within the country, both of us pretty much always have the best luck just sticking to certain popular hotel companies that have locations in every major area in every state. Sadly, both of us had some lacking experiences with disgusting accommodations while we were on vacation last—things like roaches plus mildew that you shouldn’t put up with in a four star hotel. Our next vacation was planned for the gulf coast so both of us made the choice that perhaps it would be nicer to find a vacation rental where you pay for bi-weekly, weekly, or monthly rates. You can find houses plus condominiums in all sorts of sizes plus locations that are available to rent in these short frames of time. Normally you’d be paying biweekly rent on an annual lease contract, but these vacation rentals are mostly a cross between that world plus the world of motels plus hotels. Lots of payment flexibility happens to be there but with the sort of accommodations that numerous hotels do not afford at comparable rates. Although a beach location seemed best, both of us soon came to learn that our new home base for the next four weeks was incredibly boiling plus humid inside plus out. To our amazement, when both of us tried to change the temperature control unit settings, both of us discovered that the temperature control unit had been locked by the property supervisor. The two of us contacted them in a hurry only to find out that the locked temperature control unit was mentioned in fine print in our contract. To have no control over your heating plus cooling equipment while paying top dollar to rent accommodations seems exactly like insanity to me. Unfortunately, both of us were stuck with the less than comfortable residing space for four weeks.
