I really wanted to be in a quiet neighborhood with a house that allowed our family to grow over time. Most of all, my man and I were concerned with the indoor air quality and the age of the HVAC system that we were inheriting. Of course, we wanted our family to breathe healthy indoor air. But, also, we were scarred by bad experiences in the past. All of our prior homes had terrible indoor air temperature control systems in the properties. Neither of us was ever in a position where it was possible to change the heating, cooling, and ventilation system. It was always up to the lazy landlord to call some HVAC repair shop if anything was going wrong with the heating, cooling, and air quality control devices. And, you know he sure wasn’t going to update them to modern standards any time soon. So, when we moved into our first home, we were both super excited to find that I had an efficient heating, cooling, and ventilation plan. It wasn’t just a plain old forced air furnace and AC setup, it was a heat pump! This new HVAC system allows us to heat and cool the house with one unit and zero energy expenses. It felt amazing to have efficient heating and cooling for once, and we finally knew that the HVAC was not going to break down any day. It feels so nice that our cooling system is modern, our heat is completely free, and we’re finally breathing easy.
