I got fired from my task as an Heating & A/C worker

Being an Heating & A/C worker is incredibly complicated.

Since it is a tough job, it tends to draw tough people.

I will be the first to admit that I am not a absolutely tough person. The only reason that I am working as an Heating & A/C worker is that I had no other option. Nobody else in our section was hiring, so I had no other choice. However, I wasn’t able to work as an Heating & A/C worker for long. A few months into the job, I lost my position because I messed up because of an accident. A buyer called up to ask us to repair the gas lines for his gas furnace. Apparently, it was leaking natural gas, so they didn’t want to risk a fire because of their furnace, then while we were there, the senior Heating & A/C worker trusted myself and others with installing the gas line while he was looking at their cooling system upstairs. I wasn’t sure what happened next, because the main water line in the home burst open & started gushing into the basement. I suddenly found the Heating & A/C worker, & we tried to figure out how to shut off the water, but by the time we turned off the water, there was a ton of water in his basement. The homeowner was absolutely angry however not nearly as angry as the Heating & A/C worker that had hired me. I found out that it would cost him a lot of money to service the destruction, & I was promptly fired from my position as an Heating & A/C worker. Apparently, the people in this Heating & A/C business don’t believe in hour chances.
