Camping with underfloor heating

When my boyfriend asked me to go camping with him I immediately said “no”.

I don’t like the outdoors and I don’t like being uncomfortably cold. It snows in this area. Although the snow doesn’t stick, it is still too cold for camping this time of year. But Kyle said that we would be camping in a cabin and that the cabin has a heater so I decided to go along after all. I packed warm clothes, a few books, and my crochet project. Then I hoped and prayed that the cabin really did have a good working heater. I was imagining a rustic sort of cabin with maybe a fireplace and a space heater. What I got was a 5-star resort. This isn’t really a cabin at all. It is more like a hotel that happens to be made of logs. It has moose heads on the wall in the entryway and other sorts of rustic things like that but it is the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in. The best part about it was the heated floors. Every room in the “cabin” has heated floors and each room has its own thermostat. Our room was so comfortable. I don’t know what I was so worried about. I say on the couch in our room and read and crocheted for 4 days while Kyle went hiking and hunting. We both had a great time. I told him to invite me back next time he wants to go “camping”. I can definitely do camping like this and I’m glad I decided to go along with him.
