I had been wanting to get myself an electric fireplace for the beach dwelling for the longest time now.
I finally was able to gather together the money to do so. However I was about to run into a major complication I didn’t really plan for. I just went to the store to make the purchase and figured the electric fireplace would easily fit in the trunk of my car since it has to be put together and installed… Boy oh boy was I wrong about that! This thing was way too sizable for the trunk of my car! I was pretty lucky that I had a friend in the area who owned a nice pickup truck, so I called him on my cell phone and asked if he could come down to the store where I was stuck at with the electric fireplace and haul it back to my beach dwelling in his pickup truck. He said he would be right over! About 10 minutes later he arrived and the two of us loaded this gigantic electric fireplace in its box into his pickup truck. When the two of us got it to my dwelling, he helped me unload the electric fireplace from his pickup truck and brought it into my dwelling. We shook hands and said our goodbyes and then he went on his way. I was now at the job of unpacking the electric fireplace from the box and assembling it together. This was also a relatively major task! But happily the electric fireplace came with guidelines so I did not have to call some fireplace professional and spend additional money. It took me roughly 2 hours to actually install it. It was totally worth it!
