On the very last day of our senior Year, my friends and I planned to leave for a 2-week trip across the nation… Each of us were gleeful for our own particular reasons, however I wanted to see some historic and national landmarks that were on my bucket list.
My best pal John wanted to see the canyon, and Bobby just wanted to get out of the dwelling for two weeks.
We saved some money for gas, tolls, food, and rooms. My mother gave me some money for graduation, and I also opened a credit card in my name. I knew the group of us would have plenty of money and some backup plans in the case of an emergency. I did not expect that emergency to actually happen on the same date that the lot of us left. We were only in the motorcar for a couple of hours, before the air conditioner appliance entirely stopped working. I knew it was a pretty huge problem, because the air conditioner appliance stopped working and the temperature easily shot right up. I had to pull off the road into a deserted gas station. I called my mother and asked for some advice. She basically told me that it sounded like a rather a major problem and proposed that we use the emergency funds to get a hold of a mechanic. I used the roadside assistance to get us towed to the nearest motorcar dealership. After that, the lot of us spent most of the afternoon resting in the shop. They managed to fix the air-conditioner appliance, however not before the lot of us lost 5 hours of daylight driving hours. We made the choice to wait and leave in the morning hours, after the lot of us had a good night of rest.
